In September 2014, Siemens AG and Bosch Group reached an agreement: Robert Bosch will acquire 50% of the shares of Siemens Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group (Bosch Home Appliances) held by Siemens. It will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Bosch Group, and Siemens will completely withdraw from the field of home appliances. The sale of the home appliance business is one of the manifestations of Siemens' focus on electrification, automation and digitalization. 
On June 6, 2017, "BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands 2017" was announced, and Siemens ranked 77th.  On July 19, 2018, the Fortune Global 500 list was released, and Siemens ranked 66th.
